Year 1 & 2 – Jemison

Our class is named after Mae Jemison, who is an American engineer, physician, and former NASA astronaut. She became the first black woman to travel into space when she served as a mission specialist aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour.

PE and Homework

PE days are Tuesday & Friday.  Children need to attand school in PE kits on these days.

Homework is daily reading and practising the Common Exception Words in the front of reading diaries.

Please ensure that children have book bags and reading books in school every day.
